Self-Performance Audit July 2010

This month, the Self-Performance Audit was done on Saturday, 10th July 2010.
I arrived at Custom New Gate A at about 2030hrs, and there I saw one guard without wearing proper security's uniform was walking toward the guard house from the direction of Custom Office.

This time I did not stop to take the photograph as the guard was still awake. From Custom Gate A, I drove straight to my company. Along the road I noticed that most of the street lightings were functioned.

I reached Main gate at about 2035HRS. At the Main Gate I saw two guards were on duty. The beacon lights to divide the inward and outward road were both lighted. Not like the MID hired guard, two guards that were on duty at my company main gate were found in a proper uniform.

From the Main Gate, I drove straight to the round about infront of the Harmony Walk. Along the boulevard, I observed that most of the street lightings were lighted. The sorroundings were bright and could enable the security to see the presence of security threats.

At the roundabout infront of the Harmony Walk, I saw that the street lights were lighted. After parking my vehicle infront of the Gate 2B, I walked straight to the Harmony Walk followed the Pedestrian walkpath created by EHS.

At Harmony Walk, I saw one guard by the name of SE Saban was on duty. He looked alert and wearing a proper security . From Harmony Walk I walked straight to Security Control Room (SCR). At the SCR, I met with the duty supervisor. After a short discussion with Security Supervisor on duty (Shift B), I went to my office located on ground Floor.

After finished reading my e-mails, once again I went to SCR, and then went to the cafeteria. When I arrived at the cafeteria, no employee was seen using the facilities. After ordered my drink , I went back to my Office with my "tapau" Coffee Kaw...
After talking to security supervisor on duty, and after confirmed that no security issues being reported and observed, I left the premises at about 0630hrs on Sunday, 11th July 2010.

Conclusion

The security of the company was in a good hand of the dedicated security enforcers on duty, led by competent security supervisor . The company's security personnel on duty were looked alerted throughout my visit.
As for the MID hired guard/s, the guard was not alert and did not wear a proper security uniform.
